I think that this is another vivid representation of religious un-acceptance. People in this world have basically turned a new leaf in religious equality around the world. However, there is still a very large number of people who do not accept others who are different in religion as equals with themselves. Terrorists fully embody this belief of religious inequality and many things like these and very major genocides have been carried out all out of dislike. It is truly unbelievable how people in this world can not live in acceptance of one another and cannot accept people as equals with themselves.
This represents culture because religion is apart of culture and what religion people practice in a society. Religious inequality is a big issue everywhere. People cannot be themselves and believe in who they want at times. Religion is a part of culture and people can't even share the same beliefs. Without a priest, people cannot practice their religion. They must either learn to practice on their own or succumb to other religions.
